Lovely Ladybugs

Before it gets too hot outside we spend lots of time in the backyard. A few days ago as we were watering the lawn Treyson found a new treasure, a ladybug. He was super excited to see one in real life. He loved having it crawl all over us, although she would fall back in to the grass every once in a while. He would find her and hold her and tell her what a beautiful ladybug she was. He can test me to no end one minute and the next he melts my heart with his sweet ways!

The Man of My Dreams

He is a real "mans man". He works as a carpenter for a living but I call him McGuiver, because he seems to be able to do or fix anything! He is the best father and loves being a Daddy. Treyson and Joe love to wrestle and play rough with each other. Trace just gets so excited when he hears the garage door opening, knowing that his Daddy is home. And Jersey Girl has him wrapped extremely tight around her little finger. Joe was hesitant about having a daughter at first but she is his little Honey and he adores her. He loves riding our quads and taking the RV out camping, fishing, golfing, playing ping pong, bbqing and if he has his Coors Light he is a happy man! He is my heart for sure. We are best friends, and I love him more than words could ever say!

Birthday Cakes

I have made it my mission to bake my own cakes for my kids on their birthdays! This was the first year I did it and it was so much fun. I made Treyson a train cake, as he loves the Choo Choo's! I found an awesome website that helped me out a lot. It did not turn out near as well as the pictures but I loved it anyway, and so did Trace. When he walked in the kitchen and saw it on the table all he said was...."WHAT THE". So I am taking his words as a great surprise gone well!

First Fish!

Treyson got a new fishing pole and tackle box for his birthday so we have been fishing the past 2 weekends. He loves it and wants to go everyday! This past weekend he caught his first fish and he was SUPER EXCITED! I love watching him experience new things. I cherish these times!

THIS IS US

We are a very blessed and happy family of 4. Joe and i met when he moved to Boulder City from California in 1996. His first day of school he came to lunch with my crew and I. I immediately new I had a thing for him, we had great conversation and he was a smoking hottie! Walking back to school from lunch I told my girlfriend Amber that i would marry him someday, and I did! We started dating a few weeks later and now we have been together for the past 12 years (married for 4 of them). We moved around a few times between the Vegas area and even Mackay Id. After many years of it being just the two of us, we decided we were done partying and we wanted to start a family and really settle down. Joe asked both of my parents if he could marry me and the next weekend we went to the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas and we had our drive-thru wedding. It was just our style! Our first born Treyson was born in 2005 and our lives have never been the same! He is the smartest and cutest boy I have ever met. And the only red headed Mexican we have ever seen as well! Our second child, a daughter, Jersey was born February 1st 2008 and now we are a complete family. I am able to stay at home with my babies while Joe works so hard to provide for us. Joe and I are as happy as we have ever been and are so grateful for our lives and all our blessings. Days are for sure trying sometimes but nonetheless I love it. Joe is my ultimate best friend. I love him more than words could ever explain and I am so glad he chose me! stay tuned becasue in our lives each day is something different and you never know what will happen in our reality!
